The Port of Kewaunee is famous for producing large numbers of BIG FISH, and Captain Steve Braunsdorf is famous for catching those big fish. With over 27 years of Great Lakes experience, Captain Steve has the know-how to put fish into the boat.
We go out once in the morning and once in the afternoon. We leave the dock at daybreak for the morning and 1.00 P.M. for the afternoon charter. We can accommodate up to 6 people. Our season is May 15 to October 1. Generally Brown Trout and Lake Trout bite in May and June. Rainbow Trout and Salmon in June, July, August, and September.

Jaws II Charters also offers an unforgetable opportunity to catch MUTANT walleye and MONSTER smallmouth in Green Bay. For this excursion we use 2 (type of boats), which will accommodate 2 fisherman in one boat and 3-4 in the other. We leave from the specified landing once in the morning and once in the afternoon. We leave the dock at daybreak for the morning and 300 P.M. for the afternoon charter. The best time for Walleye bite is May-June and smallmouth are hot in late May and June.
Captain Steve will not be deterred by arctic conditions, when the water freezes we simply cut through it and continue fishing! Nothing will get in our way of offering up a great fishing experience year round. The Whitefish and Walleye bite December through March. Regardless of the season, you will get the best effort from Jaws II Sportfishing Charters. The Whitefishing brings limit catches most of the time. We will show you the technique and the baits we use. We offer fully guided and semi guided trips. We have some permanent ice houses that we use in both cases and also rent them out by the day and half day. These ice houses are on fish all the time.
